New voice podcast!

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well.  I wanted to let you know of a new update to my site.  My hard working webmaster Uri has set up a podcast section on the site!  Look at the menu bar and click on Podcast.  (http://www.johnvyselaar.com/Podcast.html).  You can listen to it on the page, or right click on the link below and download the file to your computer for listening at a later time, if you prefer.  We will get it set up for you in iTunes as well for those of you with iDevices.

For this first podcast I give you a basic description of the components of your cholesterol profile: LDL, HDL, triglycerides, etc, and I try to explain how I make decisions about treating patients’ cholesterol.  This is designed to be clear and free from medical jargon as much as possible and understandable for the general listener.  I hope it is interesting for you!  Let me know if you have any questions.  Also let me know if you have any suggestions for future topics!  I plan a series of voice podcasts explaining different topics and concepts relevant to cardiology and cardiovascular health.
