Heart Function Clinic has expanded hours, and now serves patients with atrial fibrillation too!

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well.  I’ve been enjoying the summer…and working hard!  My partners and I, along with our nurse practitioner colleague Lana, are pleased to announce that we’ve expanded our Heart Function Clinic to four days per week, from three.  This will improve patient service and ensure we are able to see you in a timely fashion.  Also, we are now caring for patients with atrial fibrillation in this clinic, too (we call it our “Atrial Fibrillation Service.”)  Patients with atrial fibrillation benefit from extensive counselling, review of lifestyle factors, medication adjustment, and close follow up, as patients with congestive heart failure do, so this expansion made sense on a lot of levels.
